Church ‘Open’ afternoons

  During 2010 this lovely country church will once again be open on Sunday afternoons from 2.30 pm - 4.30 pm, when once again we look forward to meeting previous visitors and to welcome those who find us for the first time.
 

A SUNDAY STROLL

  On a Sunday afternoon, why not take a stroll and enjoy
the peaceful rural setting
of our beautiful 14^th century church at Ridge.

   You will find the church open for you to see
amongst other things
our 15^th century wall painting

The wall painting of St. Christopher carrying our Lord across
a river dates from the 15th century,
probably by the same hand as the wall paintings
of this date in St Albans Abbey

write-up

and the ‘Mouseman’ furniture.
 


Reward yourself with tea and cakes.

You will be able to try ringing a bells !
