BELL RINGING NEWS  - NEW YEARS EVE

The bell ringers New Year celebrations at St Giles’ Church.

                                 11.00 pm Sing-a-long
        
                                 11.40 pm Prayers

                                 11.50 pm Ringing out the old year and greeting 2008. 
                                                 Followed by mince pies and drinks. 
                                                 You are welcome to join us for this celebration.
 

Have you ever thought of trying the art of bell ringing?
If you are interested do come along to:

St Giles', South Mymms on Thursday evenings between 7.30 pm and 9.00 pm or

to St Margaret's, Ridge on Friday evenings between 5.45 pm and 7.15 pm.

Anyone from 11 years upwards could be a ringer.
Come along and see what we do, what it would involve.
Children 11 to 15 must have an adult with them when visiting.
We look forward to welcoming you in one of the towers.

THE SCOUTS CENTENARY CELEBRATIONS

   If there are any ex Scouter’s or scouts who can ring church bells or scouts who would like to learn to ring church bells and join in the countrywide ringing to celebrate
this 100 year event in July 2007 when all scouts are asked to renew their Promise,
